POZY Bears® Events - 2012June 23rd – Wyatt’s Trading Post POZY Bears will celebrate its 1st year anniversary at Wyatt’s Trading Post, in Mt. Airy North Carolina on June 23rd. Wyatt’s was not only one of the first retailers in the country to sell POZY Bears, but the very first retailer to host a POZY Bears event. It seems only fitting to celebrate all the success POZY Bears have experienced over the past year with the wonderful folks at Wyatt’s Trading Post in Mt. Airy. David will be on hand from 10:00 – 2:00 to sign POZY Bears as well as share some of his original creations. Wyatt’s Trading Post is nestled in the small town of Mt. Airy, NC made famous by the Andy Griffith show. Although much has changed in the world since the days of the Andy Griffith Show, one can still experience the simpler times, sense of community and tradition that continue to be at the heart of small town communities such as Mt. Winey Bears is a teddy bear shop owned and operated by world-renowned teddy bear artist Sally Winey. Sally has been designing teddy bears for over 25 years, appeared on QVC, HSN and Discovery Channel. Her expertise as a teddy bear maker has also helped her to produce her own teddy bear patterns, books as well as how to videos. She continues to make her own very whimsical creations available at Winey Bears in addition to providing a repair service for teddy bears and their friends that have been well loved over the years and need a little mending. November - Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouse David will be appearing at Ashcombe’s largest holiday event of the year this holiday season. The POZY Bears holiday collection consisting of several ornaments and holiday figurines will be available for purchase during the event and throughout the holiday season.
